Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Northeast Ohio is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults at home, helping with companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and safety. Training is provided, with flexible days, evenings, weekends, and overnights to fit your schedule.

Join a supportive team, enjoy mileage reimbursement, and earn $17-$20 per hour based on experience, with a $0.50 raise after 90 days. Driver's license is preferred and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, reliability are essential.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must pass background check and motor vehicle screening.
• Reliable transportation to assignments is required.
• Driver's license is preferred but not required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care: companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, safety support.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and safe mobility (training provided).
• Engage with clients by doing tasks with them, not just for them.
• Bring joy by participating in activities they enjoy and outings.
• Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
• Communicate observations and updates to the office.
