HomeWell Care Services Delaware is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Home Care Aides for Lewes, Delaware. We offer full-time and part-time shifts, training, competitive pay ($16.00–$17.00/hour), and a supportive, family-oriented environment focused on respecting client dignity.

Responsibilities include non-medical personal assistance, companionship, light household tasks, and mobility support. Certification is welcome but not required; 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• 1 year of direct caregiving experience required for non-certified caregivers
• HHA or CNA certification welcomed but not required
• Pre-employment physical and drug screening are required
• TB test clearance required and background check performed

• Provide non-medical personal assistance services to help clients maintain independence and quality of life
• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide medication reminders and transportation support if needed

Your Role as a Caregiver / Home Care Aide

In this role, you will provide non-medical personal assistance services, ensuring our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties Include:

• Companionship & Social Engagement
• Household Support – Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Personal Assistance – Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing support
• Mobility Assistance & Transfers
• Medication Reminders
• Transportation & Errand Assistance (if applicable)

All services are provided with respect, professionalism, and a commitment to client dignity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• HHA or CNA certification is welcomed but not required
• Caregivers and Home Care Aides without certification must have at least 1 year of direct caregiving experience
• Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening
• TB Test Clearance Required
• Criminal Background & Fingerprint Check Required
• Reliable Transportation Required – If transporting clients, must have valid driver’s license & auto insurance
• Ability to Work One (1) Weekend Day Per Month
