Job summary

River Oaks Homecare is hiring dedicated Caregivers for a brand-new residential home in Phoenixville, PA. We offer 12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week) in a stable, in-home setting, not traveling between clients.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with same-day pay. We provide free medical and life insurance, ongoing on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and we can assist you in obtaining it.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving/CNA/HHA experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it!).

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with sensory processing needs.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient redirection and communication to support residents.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks and assist with feeding as needed.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe living space.
• Community & Companionship: Engage residents and drive to events/appointments in a company vehicle.
• Health Advocacy: Monitor health and med reminders.

The Schedule:

We are currently hiring for 12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week). This is perfect for those who want a consistent, stable routine in a beautiful residential setting rather than traveling between multiple client homes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.
• Community & Companionship: Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident’s unique personality. Driving the residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments
• Health Advocacy: Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.

What We’re Looking For

• Heart for Service: Compassionate, respectful, and ethical.
• Experience: Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
• Essentials: Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it!).
