Job summary

River Oaks Homecare is expanding and hiring caregivers for a brand-new residential home in Phoenixville, PA. We offer 12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week) with a stable routine in a beautiful residential setting, not traveling between homes.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with same-day pay available. We provide free medical and life insurance, and offer profit sharing plus on-the-job training for growth. Multiple openings are available.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it!).
• Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support sensory processing needs.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient, positive redirection and communication techniques.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks per dietary requirements.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Community & Companionship: Foster engagement and drive residents to events/appointments in a company vehicle.
• Health Advocacy: Provide medication reminders and monitor health or changes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.


• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.


• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.


• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.


• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.


• Community & Companionship: Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident’s unique personality. Driving the residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments


• Health Advocacy: Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.

What We’re Looking For:
