River Oaks Homecare is hiring dedicated Caregivers for our brand-new residential home in Phoenixville, PA. We offer 12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week) in a comfortable, residential setting designed to be stable and caregiver-friendly.

You will provide personalized daily support, create sensory-friendly environments, and offer health advocacy and meal assistance. Enjoy pay of $16/hour with same-day pay, and free medical and life insurance plus on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Heart for Service: Compassionate, respectful, and ethical.
• Experience: Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience is a plus.
• Skills: Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
• Essentials: Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it!).

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient redirection and communication techniques to support residents through challenges.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to dietary requirements or textures.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
• Community & Companionship: Engage residents with activities and accompany to events and appointments.
• Health Advocacy: Provide vital medication reminders and monitor health or behavioral changes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.


• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.


• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.


• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.


• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.


• Community & Companionship: Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident’s unique personality. Driving the residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments


• Health Advocacy: Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.
