Job summary

River Oaks Homecare in Norristown, PA is seeking dedicated Caregivers for our brand-new residential home. Provide personalized daily support, assist with hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring comfort and dignity. We offer pay $15 per hour, same-day pay, free medical and life insurance, profit sharing and on-the-job training.

Shifts are 12 hours daily (3-4 days a week) in a peaceful home setting. Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (we can help

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it!).
• Experience in caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: assist residents with hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: implement routines for sensory needs.
• Behavioral & emotional support: use patient redirection and communication techniques.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: maintain a safe, clean home.

• Health Advocacy: monitor health and medication reminders.

What You Will Be Doing

• **Provide Personalized Daily Support:** Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.
• **Create Sensory-Friendly Environments:** Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.
• **Behavioral & Emotional Support:** Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
• **Meal Preparation & Nutrition:** Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
• **Light Housekeeping & Organization:** Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.
• **Community & Companionship:** Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident's unique personality. Driving the residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments
• **Health Advocacy:** Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.
