Job summary

Home Instead in Torrance, CA seeks compassionate Caregivers for daytime shifts. You will provide non-medical care, assist with daily tasks, and support clients to live safely at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping and errands. A vehicle is required for on-call assignments, with a CA driver’s license and insurance. Training is provided and schedules are flexible.

Qualifications

• Reliability, excellent communication skills and compassion are a must.
• Ability to commute to the South Bay or Marina del Rey areas.
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Complete all required training.
• Access to a vehicle you can drive on assignment (valid CA Driver's License, current registration and your name on insurance).
• Register as a CA Home Care Aide (criminal background clearance and TB test).
• Pass drug tests.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• A heart for caregiving and respecting older adults.
