Job summary

Home Instead in Escondido, CA is seeking an Overnight Caregiver for 11pm–7am to provide compassionate in-home care to aging adults. You’ll work with families to ensure safety, comfort, and peace of mind, in a supportive team environment.

Competitive hourly pay ($18–$20), paid training, education, 401K, and flexible scheduling are offered. A CA driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required; previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A caring and empathetic nature.
• Ability to interact with client in a positive manner.
• Ability to pass a background and DMV check.
• Possess a valid CA driver’s license.
• A clean, safe, reliable vehicle + auto insurance.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Previous caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to an elderly client in an upscale retirement facility
• Providing peace of mind to the families of our clients.
• Assist with transfers, stand by bathroom assistance and brief changing.
