Job summary

Home Instead Torrance is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical assistance to older adults in the community. You will help with daily tasks to support independent living at clients’ homes, including weekends and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, shopping, and companionship. Training is provided, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for long-term assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Ability to commute to the South Bay or Marina del Rey areas.
• Complete all required Home Care Aide training.
• Pass criminal background clearance and TB test.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.

Urgently hiring weekends! Looking for longer hours of availability (Sat. and Sun. 8a-8p) as well as some hands on skill. Additional Friday and/or Monday availability a plus. Home Instead® Torrance is looking for people like you to provide non-medical care for older adults in our community. We help with everyday tasks that allow our clients to live independently wherever they call home.

Job Requirements

• Access to a vehicle you can drive while on assignment (valid CA Driver's License w/proof of insurance)
• Ability to commute to the South Bay or Marina del Rey areas
• Complete all required training
• Register as a CA Home Care Aide (including criminal background clearance and TB test - we will help with this!)
• Pass drug tests
• Ability to speak, read and write English
