Job summary

The Gardens at Marysville Independent Living and Assisted Living in Marysville, WA is seeking a Caregiver/Care Partner to support seniors with compassionate, person-centered care and daily living activities.

This role emphasizes respectful communication, adherence to state certifications (HCA/CNA priority), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, career development, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or higher preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with older adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.
• Must meet state certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to support residents' independence.
• Communicate clearly with residents and team members to coordinate care.
• Follow safety and lifting protocols; able to move up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Highlights of the Caregiver/Care Partner Position:

• HCA and/or CNA certification give priority
• Possesses applicable certifications as required by state
• A minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Must be able to regularly life and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance of a second employee and/or mechanical devices.

The salary range for this position is $19.50 to $24.00.
