Job summary

Vitality Living Columbia is hiring a caregiver to join our team in Columbia, SC. You will assist residents with daily activities, emotional support, and simple treatments as outlined in service plans.

We welcome applicants who are at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and who meet state health and certification requirements. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow within our vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and behavioral issues per service plans.
• Contribute to development and revision of service plans by reporting resident needs and successful approaches.
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
