Job summary

Caretta Senior Living in Bellevue, WI, is seeking a part-time Caregiver for AM, Evening, and Overnight shifts. The role offers 16 hours per week with opportunities to pick up additional shifts, a pay range of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience, and benefits including shift differentials and paid time off.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide physical and emotional support, and document care per the service plan.

Qualifications

• WI CBRF Certification (Preferred)
• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• The Caregiver observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.
