Job summary

Caretta Senior Living in Bellevue, WI is seeking a dedicated part-time Caregiver to join our team. You will assist residents with ADLs, provide physical and emotional support, and help maintain independence in daily activities.

This role offers AM, Evening, and Overnight shifts, with opportunities for pick-up hours. Prior long-term care experience and certification are preferred, and benefits include paid time off, and daily meal access.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• WI CBRF Certification preferred.
• Registered Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide or CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the resident service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.

Education

WI CBRF Certification (Preferred)

Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)

Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)

Caregiver Job Details:

• Hours - Part-Time
• Schedule - AM Shift 6am - 2pm, Evening Shift 2pm-10pm, Nightshift 10pm - 6am
• Pay Range - $16.00 - 21.00 / hour (based on experience)

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Caregiver observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• WI CBRF Certification (Preferred)
• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.

Hours:

• AM Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm PART TIME (16 hours/week) with pick up opportunities
• Evening Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm PART TIME (16 hours/week) with pick up opportunities
• Overnight Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am PART TIME (16 hours/week) with pick up opportunities
