Job summary

Right at Home in Conrad is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide companion and personal care to our clients. No experience required as we provide training and mentoring to help you be successful.

We are looking for a Caregiver with the availability to work some hours during weekdays and weekends. Caregivers assist with light housekeeping, transportation, meal preparation, and personal care such as transfers, bathing, and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have own vehicle with proof of adequate car insurance
• Be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Previous experience as a professional caregiver
• Pass background check
• Desire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homes
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping, do laundry, make meals
• Transport clients to appointments or the store
• Assist with personal cares like transfers, toileting, showers, hygiene
• Medication reminders, life management
• Provide companionship with engaging activities and ensure client safety
• Report changes in condition or concerns around the well-being of the client
• Delegated nursing tasks like catheter care, medication administration, etc with training by RN
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols

Companion care includes light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games. Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful. We are looking for a Caregiver with the availability to work some hours during weekdays and weekends.
