Right at Home in Iowa is seeking dependable, compassionate CAREGIVERS to provide companionship and personal care to our clients on the weekend. Duties include light housekeeping, laundry, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games.

Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be

• No prior caregiver experience required; training and mentoring provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments or stores.
• Assist with personal cares like transfers, toileting, showers, and hygiene.
• Medication reminders and life management.
• Provide companionship with engaging activities and ensure client safety.
• Report changes in condition or concerns about client well-being.
• Delegated nursing tasks (e.g., catheter care, medication administration) with training by RN.
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols.

What you will do as a CAREGIVER

Requirements of a CAREGIVER

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have own vehicle with proof of adequate car insurance
• Be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations
• Previous experience required as a professional caregiver
