Job summary

ComForCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their own homes in the North Austin area. This PRN role offers flexible shifts, with both part-time and full-time options based on client needs and caregiver availability.

You will assist with daily activities, personal care, mobility, meal planning, and companionship, ensuring safe and respectful in-home care for clients. Prior experience and a clean background are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of professional home care or senior living experience.
• Experience with gait belts and mobility aids preferred.
• Clean background as requirement.
• Reliable phone and service required (no wifi-only phones).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals and manage household tasks.
• Offer companionship and respite care for families.
• Work in North Austin and surrounding areas.
• PRN position with part-time or full-time shifts.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: 16-22 $/hour, pay depends on experience and client complexity
• Automatic travel reimbursement between clients

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes

• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• You will be working in North Austin and Surrounding areas.
• This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.
