Job summary

ComForCare is actively hiring caregivers to support clients in their own homes in North Austin and surrounding areas. This PRN position offers part-time or full-time shifts based on client needs.

You will assist with daily activities, personal care, mobility, meals, household tasks, and provide companionship and respite services to families. Training is provided to ensure quality, compassionate care in a trusted home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: 16-22 $/hour, pay depends on experience and client complexity
• Automatic travel reimbursement between clients
• Plus, rate differentials and incentives for weekends, short shifts, complex clients, longer distances (case dependent)
