Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking caregivers, CNAs and HHAs to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. You will perform daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and mobility assistance in clients' homes, while prioritizing safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license or Home Health Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks as instructed.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support range of motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care and companionship activities.
