Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Schaumburg & Park Ridge is hiring compassionate caregivers (CNA/HHA) to provide in-home care throughout our service area. Roles include assisting with personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and companionship for seniors in their homes.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with competitive pay, paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement in a trusted home-care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, CNA, HHA, or facility setting preferred).
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Compassionate, patient and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform light physical duties.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Supporting mobility, transfers, and daily routines

We are actively hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide quality in-home care for clients throughout the Northwest suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge.

Please note: This position may be posted in one of the communities we serve, but client assignments are not limited to that location. Caregivers must be willing to travel and work throughout our service area based on client needs, availability, and scheduling.
