Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg, IL, is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home, with flexible full-time or part-time hours and competitive pay of $18–$20 per hour. Travel to various service areas is expected to meet client needs.

You will assist with personal care, provide companionship, prepare meals, support mobility, and remind on medications while following care plans and communicating with families and the office team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, CNA, HHA, or facility setting preferred).
• Reliable transportation with valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and perform light physical duties.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.

We are actively hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide quality in-home care for clients throughout the Northwest suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge.

Please note: This position may be posted in one of the communities we serve, but client assignments are not limited to that location. Caregivers must be willing to travel and work throughout our service area based on client needs, availability, and scheduling.
