Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide daily living assistance to residents, including reminders for medications, bathing, grooming, and mobility support, while following supervisor schedules.

You will document daily logs, maintain residents’ confidentiality, and report issues promptly, always respecting independence and dignity. Excellent teamwork and English communication are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in senior care.
• Proficient in English for duties, supervision and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compassionate, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to multitask safely within a team.
• Capacity to make independent decisions when needed.
• Strong problem-solving in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the scheduled needs of residents as set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and preserve residents' independence and dignity.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
• Hourly Pay Range: $14-$17.00.

• You have at least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You have basic computer skills.

• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
