Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Pennsylvania is seeking caregivers for the Assisted Living Program to help residents with activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while preserving dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, medication reminders, documenting daily logs, and communicating concerns to supervisors, while upholding confidentiality and the residents' independence.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency sufficient for daily duties and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task safely in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the supervisor's schedule and provide emotional and social support.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
• Hourly Pay Range:$14-$17.00.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
