Job summary

Trulee Evanston is seeking a compassionate Caregiver (CNA/PCA) to assist residents with daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and follow established care plans under supervision.

You will support residents with ADLs, meals, and mobility, document care provided, and work with a caring team. A flu vaccination is required; we offer immediate pay access, tuition reimbursement, and strong benefits.

General Summary

As a Caregiver (CNA/PCA), you will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence. This role works under the indirect supervision of a Nurse or Supervisor and follows established care plans, procedures, and guidelines.

Caregiver Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and safety.
• Support residents in attending meals, activities, appointments, and other scheduled events, including assisting with walkers, pushing wheelchairs, and monitoring daily schedules.
• Accurately document care provided, complete shift summaries, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.

Physical Demands

• Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, stoop, or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or assist with moving objects or individuals weighing over 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the shift.

Requirements
