Synergy HomeCare in Peoria, IL is seeking a Caregiver Administrator to train new caregivers on shift and handle first client visits, plus in-office administrative duties. You will cover open shifts to ensure continuous care and report to the Office Manager.

The role requires an open schedule with nights and weekends, reliability, and a compassionate approach to client and caregiver support. A CNA certificate and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare/administration training a plus.
• 1 year caregiving or related field experience preferred.
• C.N.A. certificate required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client, caregiver, and team interactions.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to respond quickly to scheduling needs.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward clients and families.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Be available to cover open shifts on scheduled days, including nights and weekends.
• Conduct warm hand-offs to provide quality care and support to clients and caregivers.
• Maintain clear communication with office staff and management.
• Maintain in-office hours when not covering shifts (8:15am–4:15pm).
• Shift flexibility across Su-Th, M-F, or Tu-Sa.
• Answer phones and direct calls; manage emails and faxes.
