Job summary

Synergy HomeCare of Central IL is seeking a Staff Caregiver to provide daytime care and reliable coverage for clients, while supporting field operations and smooth service start-ups. The role requires independence, ability to handle complex client situations, and willingness to train other caregivers.

Shifts run 7:00 am–5:00 pm, 20–25 hours weekly, with travel to client homes as needed. This salaried, full-time position emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and adherence to SYNERGY

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience required; CNA or comparable certification preferred.
• Ability to handle challenging client situations with professionalism and patience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train others effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to shifting daily assignments.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willing to travel to client homes.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ADLs; lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be available daily from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm to cover open or emergency shifts.
• Work a minimum of 20–25 hours per week caregiving.
• Lead first-time shifts with new clients and document care needs.
• Provide care for complex or challenging clients as assigned.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care per SYNERGY HomeCare Central IL standards.
• Assist with training other caregivers as needed.
