Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Central IL is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care in clients' homes across a variety of settings, including private residences and assisted living communities.

Caregivers will work independently on assigned client care plans, with office support available. Roles emphasize dependability, compassionate care, and adherence to safety and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must maintain current automobile insurance.
• Must complete IDPH background check requirements.
• Must be able to work independently and follow care plans.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be able to accurately document services and observations.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and perform caregiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and one-on-one social interaction.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Support mobility, transfers, and walking.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands.
• Observe and report changes in condition.
