Job summary

City Net Homeless Services is seeking a Full-Time Caregiver to provide in-home senior care. You’ll support clients with daily living activities, nutrition, safety, and well-being, helping them stay independent at home.

The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care, with opportunities for training, advancement, and a supportive team culture. The position offers day-to-day flexibility and growth through ongoing mentorship and skills development.

Qualifications

• Experience as caregiver or CNA preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to earn it soon.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and dignity support (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and keep living spaces clean and organized.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor health cues as directed.
• Offer active companionship through conversation, activities, walks, and outings.
• Assist with light exercises or stretches as directed by professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Light Exercise Support – Assist with stretches or physical-therapy routines as directed by professionals.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred—but a big heart matters most.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon).
• Confidence with housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
• Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
• Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
