Job summary

Village Caregiving in London, Kentucky is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide personalized care for clients in the Williamsburg, KY area. CNAs are welcome to apply. This is a part-time, hourly position focused on helping clients maintain independence at home.

The caregiver will assist with daily tasks, monitor health, manage medication reminders, and accompany clients to appointments. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical and healthcare practices.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
• Accompany clients to doctor appointments and other outings.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and dishes.
• Engage in conversation and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
