Job summary

Village Caregiving in London, Kentucky is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care for clients in the Liberty, KY area. This is a part-time, hourly in-home position designed to help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

You will assist with daily living tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, and accompany clients to appointments, along with light housekeeping and social engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical practices.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Criminal background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
• Accompany clients to doctor's appointments and outings.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and dishes.
• Engage in conversation and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

This is a part-time, hourly in-home care position.
