Job summary

Village Caregiving in London, Kentucky is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide personalized care to clients in the LIBERTY KY area. This is a part-time, hourly in-home position dedicated to helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities include daily activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship, with documentation and safety compliance expected. Requirements: HS diploma, caregiving experience preferred, background check and drug screen,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical and healthcare practices.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
• Accompany clients to doctor's appointments and other outings.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and dishes.
• Engage in conversation and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
