Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medications punctually.

The caregiver role is vital for individuals who depend on assistance with their daily living activities. As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate and reliable support, helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

• Remind clients to take their prescribed medications punctually
• Assist clients with mobility both inside the home and in outdoor environments
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance with dignity and respect
• Support clients in completing recommended exercises to promote health
• Accompany clients on shopping trips or run errands on their behalf when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, that clients are unable to manage themselves
• Report any unusual occurrences or concerns promptly to office staff and family members
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
• Accurately document days and hours worked on agency care sheets

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive paid training, including CPR, is provided
• Commitment to following health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping duties and meal preparation, with attention to dietary restrictions
• A respectful and compassionate attitude, with excellent bedside manner
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina to perform required tasks effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Reliable transportation is essential
