Job summary

Village Caregiving in London, Kentucky is seeking a compassionate In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care to clients in the Williamsburg, KY area. This part-time, hourly position welcomes CNAs to apply, and involves helping clients maintain a comfortable and independent lifestyle in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior caregiving experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic medical and healthcare practices.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with meal preparation and feeding.
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments and other outings.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and dishes.
Engage in conversation and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate parties.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
