Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECT CARE NETWORK in Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate caregiver to accompany a man with special needs on an extended weekend trip from Madison, WI to Buffalo, NY. This unique assignment offers meaningful companionship, travel experience, and the potential for a permanent position while he is home.

Pay is $20 per hour with an expected 13 hours of care each day; hours may vary. A valid driver's license and prior skilled caregiving experience are preferred, and a background check is

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license (preferred).
• Prior experience with skilled caregiving is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide needed assistance throughout the trip
• Assist with transfers
• Meal prep/Set up
• Support with dressing and toileting as needed
• Assist with medications/reminders when required
• Outings
• Ensure safety, comfort, and companionship throughout the trip

We are currently seeking a patient, dependable, and trustworthy individual to accompany a man with special needs on a trip to visit his family for an extended weekend from Madison, WI to Buffalo, NY. This trip has not been booked yet, as we are looking for the right person to tag along! This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with travel, is skilled in caregiving, and loves adventure. This opportunity could become a permanent position for the individual while he is home.

Pay

• $20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Member is authorized for 13 hours of care each day of the trip
• Hours may vary each day dependent on needs/schedule
