Job summary

Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist with daily living activities, companionship, and personal care in clients' homes.

You will provide meals, light housekeeping, mobility support, and medication reminders while promoting safety and independence. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Paid training provided for qualified candidates

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Offer medication reminders
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers
• Monitor client well-being and maintain a safe environment
• Support individuals living with Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other age-related conditions
• Promote safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
• Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families
• Communicate changes or concerns with the office team to ensure continuity of care
