Job summary

The Homestead at Rochester is a VOANS community seeking a caring Caregiver to join the team in Rochester, MN. You will help residents with daily activities and provide compassionate, person-centered care in a supportive setting.

Offer includes competitive pay of $18–$20 per hour with night/evening differential, a .6 and .8 shift, and every other weekend commitment. VOANS supports growth, benefits, and a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to follow care plans and resident orders.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Support residents' well-being with compassionate, person-centered care.
• Monitor changes in resident condition and report to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following care plans and safety protocols.

Pay Range: $18.00- $20.00 an hour, with night and evening differential

Schedule: .6 AM and .8 AM 6:30am-2:30pm Work every other weekend

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High school graduate, CPR certified

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents' physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards
