Job summary

The Homestead at Rochester Campus, part of Volunteers of America National Services, seeks a Med Tech for Rochester, MN. This paid opportunity emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care in a welcoming campus environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and resident orders.
• Long-term care experience (preferred).
• Current Med Certified licensure in MN

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including activities of daily living.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassionate, person-centered care.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment following care plans and infection control standards.

Pay Range: $19.00-$21.10 years of experience and differential
Schedule: .6 AM shift 6:30am-2:30pm block, 45 hours per pay period

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Current Med Certified licensure in MN

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards
