FirstLight Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers for clients in Carmel Valley and Rancho Santa Fe. Join a friendly local team, provide compassionate care, and brighten a client’s day with dependable support in Carmel Valley and nearby areas.

Position offers day, evening, and weekend shifts with paid training, mileage reimbursement, and 24/7 office support. Overtime applies after 8 hours; benefits include 401(k) with company match and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance for driving assignments.
• HCA registration or willingness to obtain it.
• Meet TB screening and background clearance requirements.
• CNA certification is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Help with meals and light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to errands or appointments.
• Communicate care updates to the office.

Required Qualifications

1 year of caregiving experience preferred

At least 18 years old

Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and insurance for assignments requiring driving
