Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide high-quality, personalized care for a client in the Carmel Valley area. The role focuses on safety, daily living activities, and respect for the client’s vegetarian diet.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6 hours per day with occasional Sundays. Preference for CNA/HHA but registration as a Home Care Aide is required or obtainable after hire. Health screening and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA preferred but not required.
• Must be affiliated HCA or willing to obtain registration upon hire.
• Health screening: TB negative within 90 days or within 7 days of hire.
• A great attitude: compassionate, reliable and positive.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transfers: Assisting client to and from wheelchair.
• Personal Care: Shower and bathroom assistance with care and respect.
• Meal Preparation: Vegetarian meals per client diet.
• Light Housekeeping: Tidying and handling laundry.

Are you a compassionate and skilled caregiver looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality, personalized care for a client in the Carmel Valley area.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday (6 Hours p/day flexible)

• Occasional Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transfers: Assisting the client to and from their wheelchair.

• Personal Care: Providing shower and bathroom assistance with care and respect.

• Meal Preparation: Preparing delicious vegetarian meals (the client follows a vegetarian diet).

• Light Housekeeping: Keeping things tidy and handling the client's laundry.

Requirements:

• CNA/HHA: Preferred, but not required.

• Registered Home Care Aide: Must be an affiliated HCA or willing to obtain registration upon hire.

• Health Screening: Valid Negative TB Test (dated within 90 days or obtained within 7 days of hire).

• A Great Attitude: A compassionate, reliable heart and a positive mindset are a must!
