Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care under each client's Plan of Care. You will support clients with daily activities, transport to appointments, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance while offering companionship and emotional support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred; experience as caregiver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Qualifications
