Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas. Flexible shifts include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live‑in options with a competitive hourly rate and referral bonuses.

As a caregiver, you’ll follow each client’s Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands, and offer companionship and emotional support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

What You'll Need

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
