Job summary

Home Instead is seeking dependable, experienced Care Professionals to support clients in the Platteville, Wisconsin area. We partner with families to provide safe, consistent, human-centered care, focusing on reliability, preparation, communication, and documentation.

Care Pros follow care plans, perform personal care tasks, and document changes. Weekend shifts are common, with paid training and team support.

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on personal care in a home or facility setting.
• Ability to follow a care plan and document changes or refusals.
• Comfort with assisting with bathing, transfers, and feeding as needed.

Job description

Home Insteadis looking for dependable, experienced Care Professionals to support clients in the greater Platteville, Wisconsin area.

At Home Instead, we are not simply filling shifts. We partner with clients and families to provide safe, consistent, human-centered care. We are looking for Care Pros who understand that reliability, preparation, communication, personal care, and documentation are all part of doing the job well.

Schedule:

Thursday - 8 am to 4 pm

Friday -4 pm to 8 pm

Sat and Sunday - 9 am to 12

Saturday and Sunday - 6 pm to 9 pm

Pay:

$16.00 to $18.00

$1.00 additional for Weekend Hours

Key Skills:

• Catheter-related care experience
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience
• Incontinence,peri-care, and skin protection
• Confidently guides a reluctant client through necessary bathing/hygiene routines
• Pureed meal preparation
• Feeding/swallowing-risk experience
• Proactive hydration encouragement
• Gait belt, walker, and transfer experience
• Comfortable following a two-person transfer requirement when assigned
• Hands-on personal care, dressing, and hygiene
• Follows the care plan and communicates/document changes or refusals
