Job summary

Always Best Care Bristol is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to assist a bedbound client in Plainville. The role requires providing personal care, bathing, dressing, and general companionship, with a 56-hour weekly schedule across multiple shifts.

The caregiver will support daily routines, transport to appointments, and light housekeeping. Immediate start and reporting to the Director of Operations are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Tuesdays the schedule will be 2pm-10pm. The Caregiver will assist the bedbound client with things like personal care, bathing, dressing assistance and general companionship. This role is needed to start immediately. The Caregiver chosen will report directly to the Director of Operations.
