Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking an Evening In-Home Caregiver to support seniors in Southington, CT. This role involves non-medical care during weekday evenings (Monday–Friday) from 6pm to 9pm, providing companionship, daily routines, and safety supervision.

The caregiver will assist with bathing, dressing, meal prep, transportation if needed, and medication reminders, while upholding compassionate, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years as a Non-Medical Caregiver.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routine tasks such as bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Provide light housekeeping and transportation assistance to appointments.
• Remind clients about medications and help with meal preparation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone/ Tablet
