Job summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers for Relief and Permanent Live-In cases. Our clients span the Greater Bristol Area, Waterbury region, and parts of Hartford, CT. Interviews will be conducted at our Bristol, CT office.

Candidates should have 3+ years as a Live-In Caregiver, excellent communication, and initiative with clients. Competitive wages and flexible schedules are available, along with care-plan support and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of live-in caregiving experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Cell phone/tablet required.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Light housekeeping and house maintenance as applicable.
• Answers phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converses with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes universal precautions.
• Provides transportation to doctor appointments, activities, and shopping.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Meal preparation and cleanup.
• Provides medication reminders.

We are currently hiring for Relief Cases and Permanent Live-In Cases. Our clients are located in the Greater Bristol Area, Greater Waterbury Area, Litchfield County and select towns in the Greater Hartford area.
