Job summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking a Caregiver to join a Monday–Friday 5:30am–11:30am shift (30 hours per week). You will assist with personal care, meal preparation and companionship, ensuring clients receive safe, professional care in a supportive home-like environment.

This role reports to the Director of Operations. Ideal candidates have prior non-medical caregiver experience, excellent communication, and a valid US work status; a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Experience as a non-medical caregiver.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must have cell phone / tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• House maintenance when applicable.
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converses with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes Universal Precautions.
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping.
• Provides medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and clean up.

The main function of the caregivers is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs. We are looking for someone to assist with personal care, meal preparation and other general companionship services. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations.
