Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is hiring Personal Care Attendant-Caregivers to assist clients in their homes in the San Diego and Palm Desert areas. The role focuses on non-medical support, enabling clients to remain in their own residences through daily living activities and personal care.

Applicants must be 18+, have I-9 eligibility, CA HCA registration, TB certificate, and pass required background checks and orientations. Weekly pay and flexible hours are offered in a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
• Clearance verified on the Home Care Aide Registry.
• Current TB certificate.
• Registered with state of CA and active HCA number.
• Completed LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
• Completed LIC 501 Personnel Record.
• Completed SOC 341A Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders.
• Minimum of five (5) hours orientation prior to client presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care including bathing, shaving, ambulation, mouth care, dressing, exercising.
• Hair care, feeding, toileting/incontinence care, nail care, positioning, medication reminders.
• Skin care, transferring, meal planning and preparation.
• Provide care in clients' homes in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
