Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas. Flexible shifts include Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In options, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transportation, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, while maintaining client plans of care and ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
