Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring across Connecticut to provide non-medical home care. We offer flexible shifts including Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In options with a competitive hourly rate and referral bonuses.

Join our team to help clients with daily activities, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. We provide ongoing training and support for caregivers across multiple service areas in CT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
