Job summary

HomeWell Care Services – Everett, WA is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support clients with daily living activities and personal care under supervision of a Care Manager. You will follow care plans, promote safety, and respect client rights while delivering compassionate, professional service.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs/IADLs, adhering to infection control practices, and responding to emergencies promptly. Travel to client homes within the region is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalency.
• Current Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) certification or actively in training towards.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current physical and/or negative TB test, if applicable.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Minimum of one year of documented caregiving experience.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively with clients, families and staff.
• Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
• Genuine empathy for clients; treats clients, families and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
• Willing to travel locally/regionally to client homes.

Caregiver Summary:

The Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Care Manager to provide personal care and support services that meet each client’s individual needs. The Caregiver is assigned to clients in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of care, and delivers services in alignment with HomeWell’s mission and standards of care. The Caregiver does not perform tasks that constitute the practice of nursing, including administering medications or physician-ordered procedures.

Compensation:

Total compensation includes wages, benefits plus performance bonuses

• Wages –$22 - $27 per hour, depending on experience and credentials
