Job summary

HomeWell Care Services – Everett, WA is seeking a Caregiver to join our home care team, providing personal care and support under the supervision of a Care Manager. You will promote quality, continuity, and safety of care while aligning with HomeWell’s standards and respecting client confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, WA HCA certification or active training, CPR preferred, valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and at least one year of caregiving

Qualifications

• Must have Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) certification or be actively training towards
• High school diploma or GED is required
• CPR certification is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Minimum of one year caregiving experience is required
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• Genuine empathy for clients and respectful to all
• Willing to travel locally/regionally to client homes

Caregiver Summary:

The Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Care Manager to provide personal care and support services that meet each client’s individual needs. The Caregiver is assigned to clients in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of care, and delivers services in alignment with HomeWell’s mission and standards of care. The Caregiver does not perform tasks that constitute the practice of nursing, including administering medications or physician-ordered procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalency.
• Current Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) certification or actively in training towards
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Current physical and/or negative TB test, if applicable
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Minimum of one year of documented caregiving experience
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively with clients, families and staff
• Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision
• Genuine empathy for clients; treats clients, families and coworkers with courtesy and respect
• Works well as a member of a care team and maintains confidentiality of client medical information
• Willing to travel locally/regionally to client homes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compensation:

Total compensation includes wages, benefits plus performance bonuses

• Wages –$22 - $27 per hour, depending on experience and credentials
